UM Picks Up First Win Of 2009

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team improved to 1-0-1 on the season by thumping Warner Southern 4-0 Saturday evening in a neutral site game at William Carey University's field. Mobile controlled tempo throughout with a 32-8 edge in shots and a 15-3 edge in shots on goal.

Lady Rams Open 2009 With Tie

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team battled visiting Brenau University to a 2-2 double-overtime tie Friday evening to open up the 2009 season. The Lady Rams controlled tempo much of the game, out-shooting Brenau 21-9, but held only a 7-6 edge in shots on target. Mobile also kept forcing the issue to get 16 corner kicks, but could not convert either of those into a tally on the scoreboard.

UM Adds Two-Time All-American

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf program announced the addition of two-time NJCAA All-American Tyson Lynn for the 2009-10 season. Lynn is transferring from Louisburg College, a two-year school in Louisburg, NC. He is a native of Mobile, AL and prepped at Riverview High School in Sarasota, Fla.
