Beloved Professor 'Dr. B' Remembered with Love, Funeral Services Announced

University of Mobile Professor Emeritus Dr. Kenneth Bergdolt passed away early in the morning of Dec. 23. The family will receive visitors at First Baptist Church of Chickasaw, Alabama, on Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Dr. Ted Mashburn, associate dean of the UMobile College of Arts and Sciences.

Christmas Spectacular Photos Highlight Amazing Center for Performing Arts Event

The University of Mobile Center for Performing Arts 2011 “Christmas Spectacular!” was attended by audiences of more than 6,500 Nov. 30-Dec. 1. The ninth annual event, held at Dauphin Way Baptist Church, featured more than 250 musicians in a musical extravaganza that has become a "must-see" experience of the Christmas season in Mobile, Alabama.
