DESCRIPTION:The University of Mobile will host the 2013 Miss University of Mobile Pageant at the Saraland High School Auditorium on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. The pageant is an official Miss Alabama and Miss America preliminary. Tickets are $10 for the public and $5 for students with an ID card and will be available at the door the night of the pageant.\n\nThe winning contestant will receive several prizes, including gifts from local businesses and tuition for one year at the University of Mobile. The Miss America Organization, the world&rsquo;s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women, is a sponsor of the event.\n\nThe contestants are as follows: \n\nChrystal McDill is a freshman from Panama City Beach, FL. She is performing a spoken word piece entitled &ldquo;This Thing Called Life&rdquo; with the platform &ldquo;Pass It On.&rdquo; \n\nHolly Dunnam is a junior early childhood and elementary education major from Mobile, AL. She is performing sign language titled &ldquo;You Are More&rdquo; with the platform &ldquo;Changing the Future &ndash; Mentoring Underprivileged Children.&rdquo; \n\nVictoria Creamer is a freshman worship leadership major from Brewton, AL. She is performing the song &ldquo;Blessings&rdquo; with a platform &ldquo;Living a Life of Purity.&rdquo; \n\nMarlee Stevison is a junior worship leadership major from Satsuma, AL. She is performing the song &ldquo;There You&rsquo;ll Be&rdquo; with a platform &ldquo;A Home of Grace.&rdquo; \n\nChelsea Seitz is a sophomore music major from Mobile, AL. She is performing the  song &ldquo;Gimme Gimme&rdquo; with a platform &ldquo;Children Helping Children.&rdquo; \nJamie Kilpatrick is a sophomore biology major from Webb, AL. She is performing the song &ldquo;You Can&rsquo;t Get a Man with a Gun&rdquo; with a platform &ldquo;Feeling Good Inside and Out: Positive Body Image for a Healthy Lifestyle.&rdquo; \n\nAdrienne Smith is a sophomore early childhood and elementary education major from Gilbertown, AL. She is performing &ldquo;Toccata in D Minor&rdquo; on piano and her platform is &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t Let Your Life Go Up In Smoke.&rdquo;\n\nEmber Langley is a sophomore communication major from Fairhope, AL. She is performing the song &ldquo;Glitter and Be Gay&rdquo; with a platform &ldquo;Changing the World with our Fingertips.&rdquo;\n\nEmily Kolakoski is a junior elementary education major from Daphne, AL. She is performing sign language called "Word of God Speak" with a platform &ldquo;Homeless Advocacy.&rdquo; \n\nTiffany Rowan is a sophomore worship leadership major from Fairhope, AL. She is performing the song &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t Rain on My Parade&rdquo; with a platform &ldquo;Save It For Later &ndash; The Dangers of Distracted Driving.&rdquo; \n\n
