Ben May Building - University of Mobile campus

The University of Mobile art department is hosting an exhibit by internationally recognized artist Charles Clary through Oct. 31 at the Marilyn Foley Art Gallery on the university campus.

The exhibit, titled “Micro-Diddlitis,” features Clary’s work in paper pieced together to create germ-like structures. The artist has been featured in numerous print and Internet interviews including WIRED in the U.S. and U.K., and has had work acquired by fashion designer Pierre Cardin and gallery owner James Cohan.

Clary, assistant professor of foundations at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, will present an Artist Talk on Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. The talk and reception following is free and open to the public. The gallery is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
