National Transformation Begins When Individuals Seek God, UMobile President Writes in New Book

Award-Winning Historian to Speak at UMobile Hinson Lecture Series

'Jefferson Davis and the Meaning of the Civil War' is the topic of the 6th annual Billy G. Hinson Lecture Series at the University of Mobile. The lecture  by Dr. William J. Cooper Jr., Boyd Professor of History at Louisiana State University, will be held Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in Moorer Auditorium. The event, which includes the lecture, a reception, and a book signing, is free and open to the public.

New Bunker Hill Society Prepares Next Generation to Lead Nation

Twelve college students have been selected as the first members of the new Bunker Hill Society, an elite program of the University of Mobile to prepare the next generation to be influential leaders in America. The Bunker Hill Society is an outgrowth of UMobile Center for Leadership’s Twelve23 Movement.

UMobile Visit Day Set for Friday, Feb. 4

The University of Mobile campus is ready to welcome prospective students and their parents to campus for UMobile Visit Day on Friday, Feb. 4. UMobile faculty and staff have a great day planned! If winter weather in areas further north of the campus make travel difficult for those traveling long distances, visitors may reschedule their campus visit. Another UMobile Visit Day is scheduled for March 4, and private tours are given each week Mondays through Fridays.

The Heritage Foundation Brings Social Justice Conference to University of Mobile

University of Mobile students will learn ways to effectively and compassionately respond to needs in the community and beyond during “Seek the Welfare of the City,” a two-night conference presented by The Heritage Foundation. The event is sponsored by the University of Mobile Center for Leadership and the Twelve23 Movement. A limited number of seats are available for the public.
