University of Mobile 10th Annual ‘Christmas Spectacular’ Video Goes Viral, Special to be Televised

The University of Mobile 10th annual “Christmas Spectacular” reached a national audience when Fox News Channel aired clips from "Carol of the Bells" on Fox & Friends First, Greta Van Susteren, The Five, Fox News & Commentary, and posted online on Fox Nation.

The comedic "12 Days of Christmas" performed by the 12 Men of UM also gained national attention when it was posted on Fox Nation and commented upon by Fox News & Commentary's Todd Starnes.

The full show will be televised internationally on satellite and locally during the 2012 Christmas season. An hour-long, high quality HD video has been produced featuring highlights of the popular production, which was held Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 at Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile.

More than 8,000 people attended the three-night event, and doors were opened for the community during the dress rehearsal as well in order to accommodate all who have made Christmas Spectacular part of their annual celebration.

The production was aired on Fox News Channel's "The Five" on Tuesday, Dec. 18, beginning at 4 p.m. central, Greta Van Susteren's show On The Record, and on Wednesday, Dec. 19, during "Fox & Friends First" from 5-8 a.m. central.

It will be aired locally in the Mobile Gulf Coast area on Christmas day, Dec. 25, on WALA Fox10 at 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.

It will also be aired on WHBR TV33 on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m., Dec. 23 at 2 p.m., and Dec. 24 at 9:30 p.m.; and on the local Trinity Broadcast Network at various times.

Sherwood Baptist Church's The Sherwood Channel, Mediacom Channel 15, will air the performance in the Albany-Leesburg-Sylvester-Poulan-Dawson, Georgia areas on Dec. 24 at
9 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Dec. 25 at 6 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and Dec. 26 at 12 p.m.

Christmas Spectacular will also be aired internationally throughout the season on satellite stations Cornerstone TeleVision and The Walk TV [formerly Legacy TV).
