University of Mobile Calls for Shofar Award Nominations for Unsung Heroes in Ministry

The University of Mobile School of Christian Ministries is seeking nominees for the prestigious Order of the Shofar award. This award honors Alabama Baptist State Convention ministers for faithful service that might otherwise go unrecognized.

In essence, this is an award for unsung heroes in ministry, according to Dr. Douglas Wilson, dean and professor of Christian ministries at the Baptist-affiliated university.

Anyone may nominate a minister for consideration. Download nomination forms at www.umobile.edu/academics and go to School of Christian Ministries for a link, email dwilson@umobile.edu, or call the School of Christian Ministries office at 251.442.2406 to receive a nomination form.

Deadline for nominations is March 15.
