The University of Mobile Center for Performing Arts is presenting a free worship concert, “The CPA Finale 2010,” on Sunday, April 25. The concert is being held at First Baptist North Mobile in Saraland at 6 p.m.
Admission is free and donations will be collected for Haiti relief. Last year’s concert raised funds to buy a van for the Light of the Village ministry in Prichard.
Dr. Roger Breland, executive director of the Center for Performing Arts, said, “We want this to be meaningful for the students and the audience, and to have a purpose -- to glorify God and to raise funds to help the people of Haiti.”
This is a casual music revue featuring more than 250 students in the UMobile Center for Performing Arts. Among the ensembles performing are: Symphonic Winds, RamCorps, Exit 13, Worship Choir, A Cappella Choir, Voices of Mobile, Impact, Sounds of Mobile, HandBells, Ramtastic 4, RamTonz, RamBunctious, and Chamber Singers.
Breland said the worship concert will feature a variety of music, from instrumental and a cappella to praise and worship.
“This is music that will appeal to all age groups,” Breland said. For more information, call the UMobile Center for Performing Arts at 251-442-2420.
