MOBILE, Ala. - University of Mobile will hold the Miss UM Pageant Saturday, Feb. 5th. This official Miss Alabama preliminary competition will be held at 7 p.m. in the Saraland High School Auditorium. Tickets will be $5 at the door for UMobile students with a student ID and $10 for the general public.
The theme for the pageant this year is “Holding out for a Hero.”
Miss UM Director Allison Miller said, “The theme was inspired by our current title holder, Sarah Becky Spain, whose platform is honoring veterans. Sarah Becky has worked closely with true heroes this year through the Honor Flight network, so a heroes theme seemed appropriate.”
