The University of Mobile fourth annual Patriot’s Day will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. The public is invited to the free event at Ram Hall on the university campus.
W.D. Brunson, a resident of Satsuma, Ala., who served in Gen. George Patton’s 3rd Army during World War II, will be the guest speaker. UMobile’s RamCorps ensemble will perform, and an honor guard composed of members of the U.S. Air Force ROTC from the University of Mobile, University of South Alabama, and Spring Hill College will present the colors. Dr. Ed Litton, senior pastor of First Baptist North Mobile, will give closing remarks. Special guests include WWII veterans and Honor Flight South Alabama organizer Dr. Barry Booth.
