This select circle of men and women function as a “think tank” for future growth at the University of Mobile. Operating as the President’s Advisory Council, this group consists of alumni, parents, friends and corporate leaders who play a key role in providing advice and counsel for the many facets of UM.

Chaired by the university President, Dr. Mark Foley, the Council meets once a year in full council and twice each year in small groups of six to eight, usually at a breakfast meeting. The group provides leadership service to the University by:

  • Working with the President to implement the mission of the University: Changing Lives to Change the World,
  • Developing alumni relations and leadership,
  • Assisting to build relationships between the University and business leaders in greater Mobile and extended areas, and
  • Committing business and personal resources to support academic and cultural programs of the University.
