     You will have the opportunity to acquire  hands-on experience by completing two semesters of service in the Center for Academic Technology. You’ll solve real-world problems in a real-world setting. With a major in Computer Information Systems from the University of Mobile, you’re off to a fast start on the information super highway.

The threat of cyberterrorism and the need for computer security in businesses of all types are highlighting the need for computer specialists in information security.

The Information Security concentration is designed to prepare graduates to build and manage secure computer systems in an increasingly internet-intensive business environment. With a concentration in Information Security, you will gain experience in networking, security issues, protocols and equipment. In addition, you will have an internship with a local firm specializing in information security.
