Choose from 3 different concentrations within the Accounting major...
4-Year Corporate/Non-Profit
The four-year concentration in Corporate/Non-Profit is appropriate if
you wish to pursue a career in cost or managerial accounting.
4-Year Public Accounting
If you are interested in public accounting, but have not yet made a decision
on graduate studies, then the 4-year public accounting concentration
is designed for you. A five-year program is available which provides
enough hours to make you eligible to sit for the CPA
Exam.
5-Year Integrated
Accounting Program
A five-year integrated program allows you to graduate with both an undergraduate
degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration
(MBA). This program also provides enough hours to make you eligible to
sit for the CPA exam.
You will take some of the common professional components at the graduate
level. In addition, you will take nine hours of accounting coursework
at the graduate level, as well as other graduate coursework and an oral
and written comprehensive exam

Requirements
A major in Accounting requires the completion of the
School of Business Common Professional Component as well
as upper level courses in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting,
