The Learning Center at the University of Mobile is located in the J. L. Bedsole Library in room 102. The Learning Center is under the supervision of a director and is staffed by students who have been trained to work with their peers. The Learning Center is an academic support program for all University of Mobile students. This free service is available for students who need supplementary instruction in writing, grammar, science, psychology, music theory, mathematics, Spanish, or other subjects as needed. To make an appointment, come by the center or call 442-2377. Scheduled appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 until at least 5:00. Students should see appointment book for specific hours each semester because they change as the tutors' schedules change.
