Are you thinking about a career in nursing? Wonderful!  Nursing is a great field with unlimited opportunities.  You will have tremendous possibilities to change lives as you practice this profession.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF OUR PROGRAMS 

  •       The faculty is committed to providing a quality educational program that considers the uniqueness of each individual.

  •       Students are provided an environment in which they can develop professionally, socially,  and spiritually.

  •       Education includes both academic and practice components thus providing the students with the tools to enter the “real world” of nursing

  •       Nursing students are frequently employed while in school by the various clinical agencies used for student clinical experiences.

  •       The student has a choice of a two year Associate Degree Program or a four year Bachelors Degree program on the undergraduate level.  Special programs are also in place to meet the needs of the RN who wishes to progress to the BSN as well as the LPN to RN program.

  •       Both undergraduate programs are approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing. The Associate Degree program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and the Baccalaureate and Masters programs are accredited by the Commission in Collegiate Nursing Education.

  •       All classes are taught by qualified faculty members.  Graduate assistants are not used in the teaching role.

  •       The primary focus of the faculty is teaching and meeting the needs of each individual student.
