The University of Mobile is accredited by the Commission on Colleges
of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate's,
Bachelor's and Master's degrees. The University holds membership with
and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association
of Schools of Music. The University, through its School of Business,
is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business
Schools and Programs to offer the following business degrees: Bachelor
of Science Degree with majors in Accounting, Business Administration,
and Computer Information Systems; and the Master's of Business Administration
Degree. The Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's degrees in nursing
are accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission.
The B.S.N. and A.D.N. nursing programs are approved by the Alabama
Board of Nursing. Teacher education programs are approved by the Alabama
State Board of Education. The Athletic Training Major is accredited
by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
(CAAHEP). University of Mobile Athletic Training Education Program
graduates are eligible to sit for the NATABOC Examination.
