2004 Gulf Coast Invitational Champions

Dates & Location:
The 2004 Gulf Coast Invitational in Orange Beach, Alabama will be hosted by Spring Hill College and the
University of Mobile. The tournament will be held March 5-7 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

Format:
There will be four pools of four teams each, with the top two team from each pool advancing to the Gold Championship.
The third and fourth seed from each pool will advance to the Silver Championship. The gold brackets will be single
elimination/consolation. The silver bracket will be a 7-team single elimination tournament.

Seedings will be selected according to:

Record
Head-to-head competition
Run differential among teams involved in tie (max. of eight runs in one game)
Run differential among teams in pool (max. of eight runs in one game)
Fewest runs allowed in pool
Most runs scored in pool
Coin toss
