ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Saint Gregory University's senior catcher, Jamie McCoy, almost single-handedly dismantled Lee University (7-7) as she helped lead her Lady Cavaliers to a mercy-ruled five inning 8-0 shutout. McCoy (2-for-3) unloaded a grand slam home run in the fourth and then followed up with a solo shot in the fifth to notch five RBIs for the night.

Lacey Owens (1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored) and Mary Nelson (2-for-3 with two RBIs and one run scored) also contributed offensively for the Lady Cavaliers while Jill Smith got the job done from the pitcher's circle.

Smith gave up four hits while striking three in five innings pitched.

Lee University's Jamie Ensminger and Jalayne Mongar combined to allow six hits and three earned runs.

The Flames conclude their tournament while Saint Gregory's (8-8) avenges their earlier loss today and advances in the Silver Championship bracket where they will face No. 1 seed William Woods University Sunday at 9 a.m.
