ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Oklahoma City (10-4) improved its record to 2-1 in tournament play with a 7-4 victory over Southern Wesleyan University (7-9) Saturday morning at the Gulf Coast Invitational played in Orange Beach, Ala.

Ursula Lundberg was 3-of-4 from the plate with two singles, a triple and three RBI on the day in helping lead third-ranked Oklahoma City to their tenth victory of the season.

On the mound, Melissa Rhodes went the first six innings allowing four runs on six hits while striking out four batters and earning the victory.

Julia Hartnell closed out the game in the seventh by retiring three of the four batters she faced, allowing just one hit and striking out two.

With the loss, Southern Wesleyan drops to 1-2 in tournament action.

Both teams will now await their seeding to see if they will be playing in either the silver or gold bracket.

First round silver bracket play begins at 5 p.m. with first round gold bracket games to follow at 7 p.m.
