MOBILE, Ala. -- Spring Hill College rallied from three runs down in the bottom of the ninth inning and eventually won 6-5 in the 10th inning to give Spring Hill head coach Frank Sims his 600th career victory.

Trailing 5-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning the Badgers (11-26, 2-16 GCAC) scored three runs on three hits to send the game to extra innings. Jason Outlaw led off the inning by being hit by a pitch, Tyler Moberg singled down the left-field line and Matt Rozelle singled through the right side of the infield to load up the bases. Outlaw scored the first run of the inning on a wild pitch by Ram pitcher Beau Wiggings. Evan Lee grounded out to short but it was good enough to score Moberg from third and then Banks Walker tied the game at 5-5 with a base hit right back up the middle.

Freshman Josh Bohanon (1-0) retired the Rams (26-13, 12-6) in order in the top of the tenth to earn his first career victory; Bohanon entered the game with two outs in the top of the ninth. Bohanon then led off the tenth and was hit by a pitch in the head by Wiggins, which led to a new pitcher for the Rams. Grant Allenbach then reached on a bunt single and he and Bohanon each moved up a base on a sacrifice bunt off the bat of Outlaw. Moberg then took a 2-2 pitch past a drawn in infield to score Bohanon for the game-winning run off of Chris Copeland.

The two teams were tied at 2-2 for most of the game with the Rams scoring single runs in the first and third innings. The Badgers put two across the plate in the second inning on a suicide squeeze bunt from Outlaw and an RBI single off the bat of Josh Padgett. Mobile took a 3-2 lead with an RBI single from Ron McMillan in the sixth inning and then extended it to 5-2 with two unearned runs in the top of the ninth.

Coleman pitched 8 2/3 innings for the Badgers allowing just two earned runs and two walks while scattering eight hits. Bohanon threw the final 1 1/3 innings allowing no hits and no walks. Jesse Luker started for Mobile going seven innings allowing two runs on nine hits with two walks. Wiggins threw two innings in relief allowing four earned runs on three hits and Copeland threw 1/3 of an inning allowing two hits.
