Men's Baseball to Host
Alumni Weekend
MOBILE, Ala. – For the second consecutive year, the
University of Mobile will play host to the UM Baseball Players Alumni Game
and Golf Outing to be held Saturday, October 18, through Sunday, October
19.
Last year's event brought in 38 former players and
was the school's largest alumni event on any kind. This year, number
are expected to increase, as the game has been moved back on campus.
The weekend will begin on Saturday, October 18, with
the Home Run Derby. Immediately following the home run derby will be
the alumni game at 12:30 p.m. with a post-game meal to follow.
On Sunday, October 19, there will be an alumni golf
outing at Azalea City Golf Course. All participants are expected to
meet at noon at the course and play will begin at 12:30 p.m. The
cost will be $29 which includes the cost of your cart and green fees.
There will also be a closest to the pin and long drive competition for
prizes.
