UM Women Win Spring Hill Event
MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's and women's golf teams competed at the Spring Hill Invitational earlier in the week. The Lady Rams finished 7 strokes ahead of Northwood University for the win.
Maegan Rice took home the top individual honors by carding a 2-round score of 162 to finish 7 strokes ahead of Lindenwood's Claudia Rojas.
Mobile's Samantha Goettsch finished in a tie for 3rd place after firing a 170, while Meghan Dove finished 5th with a 173. Carlie Bloomer finished 12th after carding a 177. Lindsey Miller finished 20th after shooting a 190.
After the opening round, the UM men were 9th after carding a 335. Lindenwood led the men's action with a stroke total of 307.
The Lady Rams next play at the University of Montevallo Spring Classic March 10-11 in Calera, Alabama. The UM men next compete March 23-25 at the Oklahoma Christian Invitational in Oklahoma City, OK.
