Keli Saragusa

Personal: A graduate of Loranger High School in Loranger, LA… Daughter of Joseph and Carolyn Saragusa… One brother, Corey, as of May 20, 2002, my guardian angel… Was named Rookie of the Year and named to the All-Freshman Team… Was named the team MVP her sophomore year, as well as defensive MVP her junior year… Was again honored with the team MVP award after her senior season and was named to the All-District team four times… Won the Miss LHS Athlete Award and was named to the Louisiana High School All-Star team… LHS 1,000-point club… President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes… Four-year member of Beta and the Spanish Club.

2002-03 (Jr.): Played in 32 games, making 11 starts… Tied her career high of six rebounds against Vanguard University in the first-round of the NAIA National Tournament… Scored a season-high five points against Loyola University.   

2001-02 (So.): Played in 25 games as a sophomore… Registered a season-high 12 points and six rebounds against Huntington College.

2000-01 (Fr.): Scored 15 points as a freshman against conference rival Dillard University… Grabbed a season-high six rebounds on two separate occasions… Recorded a career-high six assists against Dillard University.
