UM Men Win Third Straight Conference Game

JACKSON, Miss. - The Rams led wire-to-wire as they picked up their third straight conference victory with a 79-64 win over Belhaven College (6-10, 1-5). Led by Tramaine Perry's 16 points, Mobile improves to 13-6 and 3-2 in conference play.

The Blazers were led by Mobile native Demetrius Lewis, who scored 18 points for Belhaven. Danuel James (13 points) and Justin Pierce (12) rounded out Belhaven players scoring in double figures.

The Rams also got double-figure production from Gimel Lewis (14 points) with Jacob Frasier and Seluynn Palmer each scoring 12.

The Rams will return home for a Saturday conference match-up against LSU-Shreveport which will also serve as a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association.
