Rams win 17th straight
MOBILE, Ala. -- The No. 3-ranked Rams extended their
unblemished home record to 23 and won their 17th in a row with an 83-51
drubbing of the Loyola University Wolfpack Thursday night at Pharr Gymnasium.
On a deep Rams roster that boasts 16 active players, 15 scored en route
to improving Mobile’s overall record to 23-3 and 12-0 in conference
play.
Shooting a stellar 60 percent from the floor in the first half, the
Rams headed into the locker rooms up 50-27 at the break and never looked
back as they led wire-to-wire.
Gabe Feagin led Mobile with 12 points and five assists. Randy Jordan,
the only other Ram in double-figures, chipped in with 11. The Wolfpack’s
Zach Tyson led all scorers with 24 points.
Mobile is now poised for a showdown against 14th-ranked LSU-Shreveport
Saturday at home with tip-off set for 7 p.m.
