Rams Fall 71-54 At Belhaven College

JACKSON, Miss—The University of Mobile men’s basketball team fell 54-71 at Belhaven College in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action Saturday evening.

Mobile (13-12, 5-9) was led by Lelund LeDay with 15 points. While LeDay was the only Ram in double figures, Belhaven placed four players in double digits.

Hunter Jeffrey led Belhaven (15-10, 7-7) with 18 points, while Nathaniel tallied 16 for the Blazers.

The teams went into intermission locked at 32-32 as Mobile made up for shooting 29% from the floor by hitting 13-of-15 from the charity stripe in the half. But, in the 2nd half, the Rams went 0-for-8 from behind the 3-point line and Belhaven hit 16-of-23 from the free throw line, while Mobile attempted only 6.
