University to honor Final Four team with celebration
MOBILE, Ala.
– The University of Mobile will honor their Final Four men’s basketball
team with a celebration to be held on Wednesday, April 7th in
the cafeteria. Free ice cream, cake and punch will be provided as both
coaches and players will be honored at this special occasion.
The men’s basketball team, which finished their
season last week with a 72-57 loss in the Final Four of the NAIA National
Tournament, will be in attendance.
Head coach Joe Niland, who won the first tournament
game of his career this season and assistant head coach Sam Coates will
also be in attendance.
All students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited
and encouraged to attend.
The celebration will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
