MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball program announced the signing of Holmes County High School star Brock Dockery for the 2008-09 season.

Dockery is a 6-6 point guard/shooting guard out of Bonifay, FL. He averaged 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists last season while being named all-conference and all-state.

" Brock is a very skilled offensive player who can not only shoot the ball but, he sees the floor and makes others around him better," Rams Head Coach Joe Niland said. "He probably will not play the point here but has the ability if needed, Brock has the ability to contribute early."

Dockery played high school ball under Po White and was the State of Florida -Allstate 3pt Showdown-Champion. He will join a Mobile team coming off an appearance at the NAIA National Tournament.
