Men's basketball drops game at Faulkner University MOBILE, Ala. -- The University of Mobile men's basketball
team (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season with an 82-65 setback
to Faulkner University at Tine Davis Arena Monday night in Montgomery,
AL.
The Eagles (1-0) led by 12 points at halftime and never
looked back. Steven Milic scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds
as Faulkner won their opening game of the season.
The Rams actually shot 55 percent from the field (21-38)
but were outrebounded 41-19 in the game, inlcuding a 22-4 disadvantage
on the offensive rebounds.
Larry Burgess, who came off the bench, led the Rams with
14 points on 4-of-9 shooting and Tramaine Perry and Randy Jordan added
11 points a piece. Burgess also led the Rams in rebounds with
three.
Mobile will next be in action this coming Friday, Nov.
12 against Texas College at home at 7:30 p.m. in the second game of
the University of Mobile Classic. Spring Hill College will play
Berry College in the first game at 5:30 p.m.
