CHAPPELL SIGNS WITH THE UM RAMS
MOBILE, Ala. –
Justin Chappell, a 6-foot-5 point guard from Tara High School in Baton
Rouge, La., has signed with the University of Mobile. A 2nd
Team All-District player under Coach Larry Grantham, Chappell averaged
16.0 ppg, 7.0 apg, and 4.0 steals per game as a junior.
In addition to helping lead his team to a fourth
place finish in the 5A district playoffs, Chappell also maintains a 4.8
GPA.
“Justin is a 6-5 point guard who can really pass the
ball and sees the floor exceptionally well,” Rams Head Coach Joe Niland
said. “He should come in and make an immediate impact. He will challenge
for playing time immediately. We’re excited to have Justin, not only
because he’s a great basketball player, but also an exceptional person. He
will be a terrific fit for the University of Mobile.”
