Rams break two-game skid with 22 point victory over Dakota

MOBILE, Ala. -- Three players scored in double figures for the University
of Mobile (7-3) as the Rams broke a two-game losing-streak with a 67-45
victory over Dakota Wesleyan University (4-6) Saturday afternoon in the
Spring Hill Classic played on the Spring Hill College campus in Mobile,
Alabama.
Gimel Lewis who scored 19 points the night before in a loss to Trevecca
Nazarene University, led the Rams with 16 points while grabbing 10 rebounds
for his second consecutive game with a double-double. Tramaine Perry
added 15 more points and Chris Bolden scored 10 to round out the Rams
double digit scoring.
The Rams took a 28-16 advantage to the locker room and never let up,
outscoring Dakota Wesleyan 39-29 in the second half.
Mobile shot 42.1 percent as a team from the floor but just 22 percent
from behind the three-point line.
Chris Haynes led Dakota with 12 points.
The Rams return to action next Thursday night as Mobile hosts Florida
College with tip-off set to begin at 7:30 p.m. Mobile is 6-0 this season
at home.
