The Rams took off at the get go, pulling away to a 50-32 lead at the half.  In the second half, Tennessee Temple stayed pretty even, but it was too little, too late.  The teams had a total of 60 fouls between them, and the game became a free-throw battle to the end.  Leading the Rams were Gabriel Feagin and Tramaine Perry, both with 16 points.  Ravi Amunugama had 15 points, Larry Burgess had 12, and Gimel Lewis had 12.  the Leading rebounder was Tramaine Perry with 10.  Gabirel Feagin handed out 5 assists in the win.

In game number two, the Spring Hill Badgers survived a close one down to the end, winning 64-63, over Purdue University - North Central.  The Badgers, at one point, had a 12 point lead, early in the second half, but the Panthers battled back.  With 5:00 left, the Badgers' lead was only seven, and with 1:30 left, the game was tied.  Finally, a jumper by Pierre DuVentre, with 1:15 left, put the Badgers ahead.  The Panthers had a chance to tie the game, but were unable to convert a second free-throw that would have tied the game.  Pierre DuVentre led all scorers with 26 points.  Nate Williams scored 12 points, while Lars Honsel was the leading rebounder, with 11.  The Badgers improved to 4-3 on the season.

Saturday evening, the University of Mobile will play Purdue-North Central at 5:30pm, and the Spring Hill College Badgers will play Tennessee Temple University at 7:30pm.  Both games are at the Outlaw Recreation Center, on the campus of Spring Hill College.
