UM Closes Out Non-Conference Season With A Blowout
MOBILE, Ala. – The Rams pocketed a season high 20 steals and shot
65 percent from the field in a 108-60 drubbing of Cincinnati Christian
University (3-9) Saturday afternoon at Pharr Gymnasium. Four UM players
reached double figures while four others came dangerously close in extending
their unbeaten home record to 9-0.
Taking the lead from the start and never looking back, the Rams were
led by Tramaine Perry’s 24 points, six assists, five rebounds and
three steals. Mobile players also scoring in double figures were: Ravi
Amunugama (15 points and five assists), Randy Jordan (13 points and six
assists) and Jacob Loucks (11 points and nine rebounds).
Cincinnati Christian was led by Mike Price who used 6-of-8 shooting
from behind the arc to record 22 points.
The University of Mobile, who improves to 11-3, will open up the conference
season at home on Thursday, Jan. 6, against Dillard University with tip-off
set for 7:30 p.m.
