2008-2009: Finished the season with a 16-16 overall record and 6-12 conference mark. Entered the GCAC Tournament as the No. 8 seed and beat William Carey and top-seed Tougaloo College to advance to the GCAC Semifinals, before falling to Spring Hill.
2007-2008: Finished the season with a 22-10 overall mark and a 15-3 GCAC ledger. Knocked out in the GCAC Tournament Semifinals, but received an at-large bid to the 2008 NAIA National Tournament. Lost in the first round to Trevecca Nazarene. Robert Jones was named 3rd-Team NAIA All-American, and Donte Walker was named GCAC Freshman of the Year.
2006-2007: Finished the season 18-15 overall, with a 10-8 conference mark. Lost to LSU-Shreveport in the finals of the GCAC Tournament. Trey Rubin was named GCAC Freshman of the Year, while Walter Fitzgerald was voted to the GCAC All-Conference Team.
2005-2006: Finished 22-8 overall, with a 11-3 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Record. Finished second behind LSU-Shreveport in the regular season GCAC standings and were ousted in the first round of the conference tourney at the hands of Loyola 68-66. Mobile finished the season ranked #23 in the top 25 poll, behind only LSU-Shreveport (2) and Spring Hill (16) out of the GCAC.
2004-2005: Finished
the season with a 30-6 overall record. Finished as the regular season
co-champions along with LSU-Shreveport.
Repeated as the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament champions.
Lost to Oklahoma City University in the first round of the NAIA National
Tournament. Tramaine Perry, Gimel Lewis and Gabe Feagin were each named
to the Gulf Coast Athletic All-Conference and All-Tournament Team.
Perry was named a Second-Team NAIA All-American and Lewis was named
a NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.
2003-2004: Finished
the season with a 29-10 overall record. Finished as regular
season Co-Champions of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference after
posting a 13-5 record in conference action. Won the Gulf
Coast Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in school
history defeating Southern University New Orleans 59-56 in the
championship game. Advanced to the Final Four of the NAIA
National Tournament falling to Concordia University in the National
Championship Semi-final. Gimel Lewis, Tramaine Perry and
Gabe Feagin were all named to the Gulf Coast Athletic All-Tournament
Team and Lewis was named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament
MVP. Perry and Lewis were both named to the Gulf Coast
Athletic All-Conference Team. In addition, Perry and Lewis
were named to the NAIA National All-Tournament Team and Perry
was named as a Third-Team All-American.
2002-2003: Finished
the season with a 19-13 overall record. Finished in fifth
place in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play after posting an
8-8 record in conference action. Lost in the first round
of the conference tournament to Xavier University. Larry
Burgess and Kirby Oliver named to the GCAC All-Conference Team.
2001-2002: Finished
the season with a 18-15 overall record. Finished in fifth
place in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play after posting an
8-8 record in conference action. Lost in the first round
of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament to Dillard University. Robert
Moman and Tramaine Perry named to the GCAC All-Conference Team.
2000-2001: Finished
the season with a 15-15 overall record. Finished the Gulf
Coast Athletic Conference regular season with a 7-9 conference
record. Lost in the first round of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference

1999-2000: Joe
Niland named as the new head coach. Finished the season
with a 24-10 overall record. Finished the Gulf Coast Athletic
Conference season with a 15-3 conference record. Ranked as high
as 4th in the NAIA National Poll. Lost in the Gulf Coast
Athletic Conference Championship Game to Southern University
New Orleans. Lost in the first round of the NAIA National
Tournament to Lindsey Wilson College.
1998-1999: Finished
the season with a 34-6 overall record. Won the regular
season Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship with a 16-2
mark in conference action. Lost in the Championship Game
of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament to Spring Hill
College. Lost in the NAIA National Tournament Championship
Game to Life University.
1997-1998: Finished
the season with a 27-9 overall record. Finished as regular
season Co-Champions of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference with
a 15-3 record in conference action. Advanced to the Gulf
Coast Athletic Conference Tournmanet Championship game losing
to Southern University New Orleans. Lost in the first round
of the NAIA National Tournament to Transylvania. Scott
Sanderson named GCAC Coach of the Year.
1996-1997: Scott

the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference with a 12-6 record in conference
action. Lost in the first round of the conference tournament

place in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference after posting a 9-9
record in conference action. Lost in the first round of
the conference tournament to Spring Hill College.

record in conference action. Won the University of Mobile
Tip-Off Tournament, Embry-Riddle University Invitational Tournament

the semi-finals of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament
to Dillard University. Head Coach Dr. Bill Elder elected
to the NAIA Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. Chad Applin and

1993-1994: Finished
the season with a 32-3 overall record. Gulf Coast Athletic
Conference regular season champions. Became the first team
in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference history to go undefeated (16-0)
in conference action. Finished the regular season with
the best regular season record (31-1) and the nation's longest
winning streak (26). Ranked third in the final NAIA National
regular season poll. Lost in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference
Tournament to Spring Hill College. Lost in the first round
of the NAIA National Tournament to Midwestern State. Eric
Polite and Dennis Powell named NAIA Honorable Mention All-American
Players. Coach Bill Elder named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference
Coach of the Year.

place in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference after posting an

Athletic Conference regular season championship by posting a
near perfect 15-1 record in conference action. Ranked 12th
in the nation in the final NAIA poll. Defeated Louisiana College
61-60 to win the District 30 Tournament. Lost to Dordt
College in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament. Dr.
Bill Elder named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and District
30 Coach of the Year.
1986-1987: Dr. Bill Elder named as the first head coach of the University
of
Mobile men's basketball program. Finished the season with a 18-14
overall record. Finished third in the Gulf Coast Athletic
Conference after posting a 9-7 record in conference action. Lost
