Men's golf team wins Region XIII Championships

FT. GAINES, Ga. -- The University of Mobile men's golf team won the Region XIII Championship by shooting a three-day total of 873 and holding off Reinhardt College by two strokes Tuesday afternoon in Ft. Gaines, Ga. 

Reinhardt College finished in second place shooting an 875, Spring Hill College finished in third at 877 and Southern Wesleyan shot an 878 to finish in fourth.

Benjamin Odom won the individual championship by shooting a six-under, 210 three day total.  Matthew Drinkard finished in fourth with a one-under par, 215.

With the win, the Rams advance to the NAIA National Tournament to be held in Olathe, Kan., May 15-21.
