UM Men Fall One Stroke Short
ROME, Ga—The University of Mobile men’s golf team finished the rain-shortened Chick-fil-a Invitational 1 stroke out of first place.
The tournament, hosted by Berry College, was shortened to 1 round and Mobile’s men shot a 293. That landed them one stroke behind #1 ranked Oklahoma Christian College.
Braxton Gillespie led the way by shooting a 71, finishing 1 stroke out of the individual lead. Clay Wilson, Chris Kennedy, and J.C. Todd all shot 74 at the tournament. Tommy Bell and Cameron Smith each shot 77 for the Rams.
