RIO GRANDE, Ohio-- The 9th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team dropped their 2nd straight game, losing 3-1 to Notre Dame College at the 2008 D. Wayne Evans Memorial Classic in Rio Grande, Ohio Saturday.

The Rams got a goal from 2007 NAIA All-American Ruben Diaz, but it was not enough to overcome the Notre Dame College Falcons attack. Mobile (1-2) returns home, where they picked up their lone win of the season, to battle Mississippi College Thursday, September 4th at 6:00 pm.

Game 1: Rio Grande 3 - Mobile 1

RIO GRANDE, Ohio—The 9th-ranked University of Mobile men’s soccer team suffered their first loss of the 2008 season in a battle of Top-10 teams at the 2008 D. Wayne Evans Memorial Classic, as the University of Rio Grande pulled out a 3-1 victory.

The loss continues the recent dominance by the Red Storm, who are now 5-0 against Mobile since 2003.

Mobile (1-1) will finish play in the tournament Saturday, August 30th at 4:00 pm. Rio Grande (2-0) will do battle with 23rd-ranked Hastings to cap the tournament action.
