Men's Soccer Falls to Thomas University 1-0

Rome, Ga. - On the heels of a great win, came a disappointing loss as the Rams dropped to 4-2 overall with a 1-0 loss to Thomas University (6-1).

Eight saves, a great outing by freshman goalkeeper Brent Grube, was not enough as the Nighthawks of Thomas University scored their only goal in the 78th minute of play. Unable to clear a scramble in the box, the Rams could not stop a shot by freshman Norwegian, Mats Solberg.

The Rams will have nearly two weeks off until playing host to Lambuth University on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m.
