Rams Vault Into Top-25

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team found itself ranked #11 in the NAIA Top-25 poll released today by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The Rams entered the last week of play with a 2-2-1 mark and were receiving votes. Then, the team knocked off previously unbeaten Auburn-Montgomery 2-0, and took down Cumberlands (KY) 1-0 to move to 4-2-1 on the season.

Those wins pushed the Rams to #2 in the Region XIII rankings and that was enough to move Mobile up to #11 in the Top-25. The Rams went on to beat Gulf Coast Athletic Conference foe William Carey University, 3-0 on the road last night, but that win did not factor into the poll results.

The Rams will return home to play Webber International Friday, September 28th at 7:00 pm.
