Men's Soccer looks for second victory in a row
against No. 21 Mid-Continent
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- After starting the season 0-2-2,
the University of Mobile men's soccer team picked up their first win
of the season Tuesday night defeating William Carey College, 3-2 and
will look for their second straight victory Saturday night when they
host
no. 21 Mid-Continent College at 7 p.m.
The Rams, who had already played two overtime games before
Tuesday, played their third overtime game of the young season
picking up a
3-2 victory on Dean Logan's golden goal.
Last weekend, the Rams were supposed to host Auburn University-Montgomery,
however, that game was cancelled due to heavy rains. It was the
second home contest the Rams were forced to either cancel or postpone
due to weather.
So far, the Rams have been led by junior, Mark Robinson
who has recorded four points in five games. Robinson, picked up
an assist in Tuesday night's victory.
