It's Limo Time! Limo's hat-trick lead Rams to
wild 5-4 come-back victory
LA MIRADA, Ca. -- Caetano (KK) Limo scored all three of his hat trick
goals in the second half as the University of Mobile Rams (3-4-2) came
back from
a
three-goal deficit to defeat Biola University 5-4 in non-conference action
Thursday night in La Mirada, California.
Biola led 3-1 at the intermission and added a fourth goal 15 minutes
into the second half to put Biola ahead 4-1 with just 30 minutes remaining
in the contest.
Despite the deficit, Limo scored the first of his three second half
goals in the 64th minute to cut into the Biola lead on a combo assist
from Alex Sesto and Pete Rantala. Just four minutes later, Mark Robinson
netted his third goal of the season off a direct free kick to pull the
Rams to within one goal at 4-3.
In the 77th minute, the Rams finally pulled even when Limo scored again
off a beautiful pass from Robinson tieing the game at 4-4.
Finally, less than a minute later, Limo completed the wild comeback
scoring his third goal of the half in the 77th minute on another assist
from Sesto putting Mobile ahead for good, 5-4.
The Rams outshot Biola 12-5 in the second half.
In the first half, Rantala scored his third goal of the season
in as many games played in the 29th minute cutting into the early 2-0
lead and pulling the Rams within one goal.
Adrian Rochofski, who picked up the win at goalkeeper in Saturday night's
5-2 win over Cumberland, started again for the Rams and allowed three
first half goals before giving way to James Beggs, who played the entire
second half allowing only one goal and making two saves.
Mobile continues their west coast swing on Saturday as they travel to
Azusa, California for a showdown against no. 6-ranked Azusa Pacific University
at 3 p.m. central time.
