Pair of Rams Earn Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- University of Mobile's Adrian Rochofski and Ruben Diaz were honored by the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and Region XIII Thursday.

Rochofski was named the Defensive Player of the Week, while Diaz picked up Offensive Player of the Week honors.

The Rams only played 2 games on the week, but picked up a pair of key victories in those two contests. Rochofski played all 180 minutes on the week, picking up a shutout victory over GCAC foe Belhaven College, and then helping the Rams to a 3-2 victory over then-#7 Berry College.

Diaz continued to pace the Mobile offense by picking up his 10th and 11th goals of the season. The freshman tallied the game-winner against Belhaven, and then provided a key goal against Berry to help keep Mobile's 13-game win streak alive.

The Rams will continue play October 26-27 at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament.
