Nov. 4, 2004 UM Men's soccer to host first round game in Region XIII Tournament MOBILE, Ala. -- The University of Mobile men's soccer team (11-4-1) will host the first two rounds of the Region XIII Tournament as they were named the No. 2 seed in the Region XIII Tournament earlier this week and will meet Belhaven College at home in round one this coming Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. If the Rams win on Saturday, they will again host their second round game on Wednesday, Nov. 10. Mobile defeated Belhaven 1-0 back on Oct. 23 in the two teams only meeting this season. AUM, which defeated Mobile 1-0 earlier in the season is the No. 1 seeded team in the tournament. If AUM were to lose either of their first two games and Mobile were to win both of their first two games, Mobile would also host the Region XIII championship game. However, if both AUM and Mobile win their first two game, AUM will host Mobile in the Region XIII championship game. First round matchups: No. 1 AUM vs. No. 8 Reinhardt College -30- |
