Univ. of Mobile Men's Soccer loses to Berry College 2-1
MOBILE, Ala. -- The University of Mobile (12-5-1) will have to await
an announcement on Monday from the NAIA National Office to see whether
or not they will receive an at-large bid to the national tournament
after losing to Berry College 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon in a Region
XIII Tournament Semifinal game at home in The Jungle.
A defensive game throughout, Mobile finally broke through in the 82nd

the Rams ahead 1-0.
However, their lead would quickly evaporate. Just two minutes after

Herting drilled a shot into the upper right corner of the goal from
about 30 yards out to tie the game at 1-1.
After a scoreless firt period of sudden death overtime, Daniel Ullrich's
goal four minutes into the second overtime gave Berry College the 2-1
victory propelling the Vikings into the Region XIII championship match
on Saturday.
