Mobile loses to AUM,
2-1, in Region XIII final
Montgomery, Ala. – The University of Mobile men’s soccer team (15-4-1)
lost in the Region 13 final to AUM, 2-1. With one at-large bid still
available, the Rams will find out Sunday if they have been awarded the
opportunity to compete at the NAIA National Championship.
The
Rams held a 1-0 nothing lead at the half thanks to a James Gledhill header
in the 10th minute that was assisted by Teba McKnight.
Out-shooting Mobile 12-7, AUM got on the
board in the 57th minute to tie the score. They struck again 10
minutes later on a penalty kick.
