Rams Climb In Top-25

KANSAS CITY, Mo—The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the final NAIA Men’s Soccer Top 25 Coaches Poll, and the University of Mobile climbed to No. 14 with an 11-6-2 record.

The Rams received 317 points to finish 4 behind No. 13 University of the Cumberlands and 17 ahead of No. 15 Hastings College.

Mobile won the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship with 2-0 wins over Belhaven and William Carey, then the Rams took down Mountain State University 6-0 Friday afternoon to advance to the NAIA National Tournament.

The Rams have had a streaky season, losing back-to-back games three times this season, but the team is currently on a hot streak, riding a 4-game winning streak. In that streak, they have outscored opponents 16-1, including three straight shutouts in the postseason by goalkeeper Jason Williams.
