Rams Named All-Americans

MOBILE, Ala—The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2007 Men’s Soccer All-American Teams and the University of Mobile was well-represented.

Thomas Wharf (Def), Caetano Lima (MF) and Ruben Diaz (Fwd) were all named 3rd-Team All Americans, Adrian Rochofski was named Honorable Mention All-American at goalkeeper, and Matt Watts was named Honorable Mention All-American as a defender.

Diaz led the Ram with 11 goals on the season, while Watts chipped in 6 goals and 4 assists. Lima totaled 10 points for Mobile and Rochofski went 11-2 in goal and picked up 7 shutouts for the Rams.

Mobile finished the season 14-5-1 and lost in the 2nd round of the NAIA National Tournament. The Rams were ranked #6 in the final NAIA Top-25 poll.
