Two more Rams receive post-season awards

MOBILE, Ala. -- Two University of Mobile men’s soccer players were named as NAIA Second Team All-American selections the NAIA announced on Wednesday.

Defender Robert O’Chan and midfielder Andres Rota were each named Second Team All-Americans just two weeks after the team’s third consecutive trip to the NAIA National Tournament.

O’Chan was the only player on the team to start in every single game this season for Mobile. The Rams finished the season with a 12-6-1 overall record and a first round loss to Azusa Pacific University in the first round of the national tournament.

Rota, a senior transfer from NCAA Division I perennial power University of Connecticut, started 18 of the team’s 19 games and scored three goals while dishing out three assists in tallying nine points on the season from his midfield position.
