Rams fall in Semi-Finals

CLEVELAND, Tenn-- The University of Mobile Rams fell behind 4-0 in the first 36 minutes to Lee University, and it proved to be too much.
Mobile entered the game looking to keep it close until late, and then make its move. The Lee University Flames had other ideas. They jumped out on top, scoring in the 2nd, 12th, 16th and 36th minutes to take a commanding 4-0 half-time lead. All goals came on point-blank looks in the box as the Flames had 9 shots on goal to just 1 for the Rams.
The Rams opened the second half looking to mount a comeback, but they came up short. Rams' midfielder Adam Barradell knocked home goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes to pull within 2, but it proved to be too little too late.
Lee's goalkeeper came up huge, stopping 2 earlier blasts from Barradell and Dean Logan had a goal erased on a foul when he challenged the goalkeeper to knock the ball into the back of the net. Overall the Rams were outshot 25-13 and finish the season 7-9.
