Head Men's Soccer Coach

Peter Fuller

Head Coach Peter Fuller begins his 11th season at Mobile this coming year and it is safe to say that with a 271-83-21 career coaching record, Coach Fuller has established himself as one of the premeire coaches in the country.

Fuller earned a B.A. in Religion from Bethany Bible College and a B.S. in Physical Education from Belhaven College.  He has an M.S. in Coaching from the National Coaching Institute of Canada, however, his coaching credentials and experience are as extensive and diversified as his education. Fuller attained a "B" License from the Canadian Soccer Association in 1988 but also has a "C" license. He also attended the National Coaching Institute of Canadian High Performance Coaches Symposium in June of 1987.

Fuller was an accomplished player, achieving NAIA All-American status as a defender and midfielder for Houghton College in 1979 and 1980. Fuller followed up a stellar collegiate career with a professional soccer career by being a First Draft Pick for the New York Eagles. Fuller also played professionally for the Rochester Flash, Memphis Americans, Sports Life and Jackson Rockers. Between 1979 and 1986, Fuller played in twenty-seven countries on eight different tours representing various organizations, including the United States.

The river of coaching experience and accolades runs deep for the three-time NAIA Coach of the Year. Fuller is the only coach to garner NAIA National Coach of the Year honors at two different institutions; one in 1992 with Belhaven College and most recently his second with Mobile in 2002. With a career that includes winning an NAIA National championship with Belhaven in 1992 and taking Houghton College to the NAIA National Quarter Finals in 1994, Fuller arrived at Mobile in 1995 and in 2002 captured his second NAIA National Championship.
